About Me
Hi I’m Becky and I am an Infant Feeding Specialist with the NHS. I have worked in maternity since 2014.
​
After having my son back in 2011 and having a very difficult start to feeding, I decided that I wanted to support families that choose to breastfeed/chest feed so that they'd be better prepared and potentially save them from having to experience feeling as if they had failed if things didn’t go as they had planned.
​
I then went on to have my daughter in May 2023, she unfortunately was unwell shortly after birth which required special care. This is where our feeding journey went from feeding tubes to bottle feeding, to nipple shields to eventually exclusively breastfeeding without the need for tools. If I did not have the knowledge I had gained over the years I don't believe this would ever have been possible.

I have undertaken the breastfeeding of London course, I developed and ran the introduction to breastfeeding class within the NHS, alongside 2 breastfeeding drop ins as well as co-creating the specialist infant feeding team for the NHS taking on complex cases and intense feeding support.
​
I really believe the key to a positive and successful breastfeeding journey is support and guidance and with my knowledge and experience I feel I can help you achieve this.
